Insurance

As from 2nd June we are insured by Zurich and the third party cover has been increased to £10M. Cover includes everything we had before but their children and vulnerable adults policy requirements are less stringent then our previous insurers.

Please can all members ensure that the details they have supplied on their membership application are up to date. It is now imperative that our records are accurate with the ever more stringent requirements of our insurers.

Remember your club membership runs from AGM to AGM and if you have not renewed within 4 weeks of this date your membership will be considered to have lapsed. In this event your insurance will be void and can not be back dated.

The committee appologise for these draconian measures but they are beyond our control.

Our insurers have also asked for accurate numbers of members. Our membership renewal now has space for this detail. This is available on the web site, for down loading and we are having to base our numbers on these forms. Only people listed on these forms are now covered by WHKF insurance! If you have not completed a form only the member named on your existing membership is insured.

And again! They will not now insure us for use of the teddy tower so it has been sold.

Membership fees from November 2007 are £14 for family membership plus any increase imposed by our insurers.
